Drinking in colors
and dying a thousand deaths for every
stepped on dandelion and every
baby bird that freezes where it falls.
If I run for long enough I
can stop only when I’ve forgotten everything.
Forever lasts for three minutes.
If I stand still and freeze until
my features freeze and stab you if I run
forever until I shatter into muddy stardust will I stop.
